The Saint Andrew Chorale and Orchestra will open their 52nd Season with one of the most beloved pieces of twentieth-century choral music, Ralph Vaughan Williams’s Hodie – a Christmas Cantata for chorus, children’s chorus, soloists and orchestra. Rounding out the program is Vaughan Williams’s rarely-heard Magnificat, a sublime, short cantata for mezzo-soprano soloist, women’s chorus and orchestra.
