Russian New Year's Program

Steven Fox, conductor

Continuing a tradition of performing Russian sacred music on New Year’s Eve and Day, the renowned Clarion Choir, together with the PaTRAM Institute Singers (Peter Jermihov, conductor), presents this concert in the venue where Clarion recorded its 2017 GRAMMY®-nominated Passion Week disc, the stunning Greek Cathedral in New York. The evening’s varied program will consist of liturgical music from the early decades of 20th century, a time of rich development in the music of the Russian Orthodox Church.
